On November 7, 2025, the historic Irvington Theater came alive with art, laughter, and community as the RTA family gathered for our Alumni Showcase Gala.
The evening was filled with powerful performances and moments of reflection, celebrating the creativity and leadership of RTA alumni who continue to inspire audiences on both sides of the wall.
One of the evening’s most touching moments came when Teaching Artist Linda Atkinson was surprised with the RTA Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring her decades of dedication, artistry, and belief in the power of the arts to transform lives.
This year’s Gala reached audiences across the country through a nationwide livestream hosted by RTA alum DestnyBrushz and featuring exclusive interviews with other alumni, Dayvon Underdue, Tai-Chi, and Dario Peña.
To everyone who joined us—whether in the theater or online—thank you for being part of this unforgettable celebration. Your support helps RTA continue to expand access to the arts and reentry programs in facilities and communities throughout New York and California.
