RTA Celebrates 25 Years of Transforming Lives Through Art

April 16, 2021
Amplify:

RTA was founded at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in 1996. 25 years later, RTA has grown into a robust prison arts program in New York with hundreds of successful alumni.

We kicked off the celebration with UPLIFT, a virtual concert led by alumni that featured messages from our members inside prison.

In May we launched Unlocked, a short film and social media campaign to raise awareness about our approach to the system.
Save the date of April 28, 2022 for our 25th Anniversary Gala, and stay tuned as we announce more events to celebrate the anniversary.
