RTA was recently awarded grants from The Tow Foundation and ArtsWestchester, and we are thrilled to share the news.
The Tow Foundation has committed to three years of General Operating Support, providing crucial stability and flexibility as we deepen our impact. This multi‑year investment allows us to plan boldly—expanding our programming reach in correctional facilities, strengthening our alumni network, and ensuring our artists and participants have the resources they need to lead, heal, create.
ArtsWestchester is supporting the launch of our first theatrical program at Taconic Correctional Facility––a medium-security women’s prison, which will culminate in a full production in the spring. This milestone will introduce participants at Taconic to new ways of exploring the arts, building confidence, and developing critical life skills.
We are honored to receive these generous awards in this year of expansion and opportunity. Together, these grants fuel the heart of RTA’s mission—unlocking human potential and proving that creativity can spark new beginnings and lasting change.
RTA’s programs are made possible by the dedication of supporters like The Tow Foundation and ArtsWestchester, who believe in the power of the arts to transform lives and build stronger, more inclusive communities.
RTA is proud to be a grantee of ArtsWestchester with funding made possible by Westchester County government with the support of County Executive Ken Jenkins.
